Detroit Lions Youth Football Camp!

LAKE CITY — It was an eventful week for more than 100 young campers between the ages of 6 and 12 who participated in the Detroit Lions Youth Football Camp held for the second year in a row at the Lake City High School football stadium.

It also turned out to be quite an eventful time for the Lake City High School football program.

On Wednesday around noon, the Trojan football coaches and players were gathered at midfield as former Lions’ receiver Herman Moore, with help from the Lions’ lively mascot Roar, presented head coach Kyle Smith with a check for $10,000 from Detroit Lions Charities for the benefit of the program.
